Career Development

When do you plan on graduating?  I plan to graduate in December of this year, 2021. What are your plans and goals for after graduation? Please be as specific as possible. How do you plan on making a living?  After I graduate, I plan to enter the FBI academy to pursue a career as an FBI special agent. By the time I graduate, I would have already been working toward meeting every requirement to apply for a special agent position with the FBI. From what I read, the application process takes up to a year to complete. I have full confidence that I will be offered a job in the FBI. So, I plan to make my living this way. The starting salary for an agent at an entry-level position is 43,705. Establish a budget for yourself, post-graduation. What does it cost to live in a manner that you’d be comfortable with? Again, be specific. Do you have school loans, credit card debt? Need insurance? A place to live? I would like to implement the 50/30/20 budget rule in my life post-graduation. I would spe

WOW! Well, where do I even start? My respect for Hannelore climbed up the ladder fairly quickly. Her story is inspiring and thrilling. What I find most captivating about her work is that she uses her life experiences as a catalyst to transform pain into beauty.  I appreciate her use of watercolor in this piece which is one of my favorite.

Career Thoughts

I've begun the process of narrowing down my list of career paths I would like to go into after graduation. I have three career choices in mind:  -FBI Forensic Field Photographer -FBI Special Agent -Museum Archivist/Curator/Conservator

Bob Dylan, Allen Ginsburg, and The Beat Generation

Bob Dylan: -I've only heard of Bob Dylan as a musician. I never cared for listening to his music. I think I've only heard of him in school when a professor has mentioned him.  Allen Ginsburg: -I've taken a look at some of Allen's poems and they are quite intriguing. It seems like his poems are just a diary of his life. The Beat Generation: -I had never heard of this generation before so I had to look it up. It was interesting learning about it and reading that The Beatles were part of it.
